Dr. Shapira is an expert in fat disorder disease and is one of a handful of surgeons in the United States who performs a specialized liposuction procedure for Lipedema. Before founding First State Med Spa, Dr. Shapira was a board-certified practicing Cardiothoracic Surgeon for over 20 years.

Lynn’s love of aesthetics goes back to her years as the founder of Exhibit Arts, an Exhibit Design and Management firm in New York City. She moved to Israel in 1995 with her new husband, Dr. Nadiv Shapira and helped to develop a new Museum of Natural History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, as their Exhibit Designer. After her two children were born and the Shapira family moved back to the U.S. Lynn combined her love of design and her desire to help women in need by working with Israeli Bedouin Arab women to create beautiful handmade textiles that Lynn marketed to major retail outlets in the U.S. In 2011, Lynn began to help Dr. Shapira with his busy MedSpa and eventually took over the management and marketing for First State MedSpa.

Zachary’s client-centered focus ensures you a memorable luxury experience. After achieving a bachelor's degree in Wellness Management Summa Cum Laude from Rowan University, he has dedicated his career to Med Spa client care. He enjoys the creative aspect of connecting with prospective new clients through social media and interactive experiences. Personally, he enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. 'I’m grateful to be part of First State Med Spa, which allows me to combine my creativity, passion for wellness, and love of working with people every day.

ZACH WELLMAN

Victoria has been a licensed medical aesthetician (LME) for over 14 years. She has been the proud owner of Remedi Wellness and Spa, located in West Chester, PA for the past 10 years and was awarded the Best of Mainline in 2022! Victoria has always had a passion for medical esthetics and decided to pursue an advanced medical esthetics degree in 2010. She has gained experience working in day spas and medical practices, ultimately deciding to focus on providing treatments that yield the most dramatic results.

VICTORIA PIOTROWSKI

MLE - MEDICAL LICENSED AESTHETICIAN

Vicky Tubens-Lowa is a passionate, skilled board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her BSN at Rutgers School of Nursing and her MSN at Widener University. She has an extensive background in critical care, telemetry and home care. Her special interest is in aesthetics, medical weight loss, lipedema and the urgent and primary care of patients across their lifespan. Vicky also serves in the U.S. Army in a Medical Support Unit providing care to active duty and reservists. Vicky is conversant in Spanish.

VICKY TUBENS-LOWA

FNP - NURSE PRACTIONER

After working in corporate America and teaching preschool Carolyn found her way to First State MedSpa. She came with a strong background in customer service (banking and corporate). “You know you’ve found the perfect job when you enjoy coming in each day to your “work family”, she says. “ It is great being part of a team that works together to ensure client satisfaction.” In her time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family and stitching.
